I want to tell you a short story about a guy who was hired to fix a refrigerated boxcar in the back of a train.

Just for illustration, a refrigerated boxcar is like a railway carriage but for products, which have to be held cold/frozen.
As he steps inside the boxcar and starts fixing it, someone closed the door from the outside, without knowing, that the guy was still inside. The guy inside starts to panic. Screeming, shouting, pounding at the door but there was no way out. No one could hear him. In the knowing, that no one would come back till the next morning, he realised, that there is no way he could survive so long inside the boxcar.

He starts to look for ways to get outside but there was absolutely no way. With a pen he had with him he starts to write down his thoughts and how he felt on the wall.
Some of the phrases clearly indicated, that he was freezing:

"It's getting so cold inside." A little later on he wrote: "My hands are turning numb there is so cold." A little bit later on he wrote: "If I could just go to sleep." That's the last thing the person does before they freeze to death. And the last phrase was "These may well be my last words" - and the writing trailed of.

What happened next was truly astonishing.
The other workers found the guy the next morning frozen to death but the boxcar wosn't working. The temperature inside of it was also not colder then the outside.
So how exactly could this guy freeze to death when it oviesly wasnt cold inside the boxcar. There was no physical reason for his death. The best they could say is that he somehow talked himself to death.

This story is from the magazine called “Success unlimited” in 1973 and is as far as we know a true story.

This story illustrates, how powerful our minds can be and what we think can turn into our reality! What we think has a direct impact on how we feel and behave. Its very important to be aware of that and just let positive thought into your mind.
You may not notice anything right away but over time negative thought can realy tear you down. To dig even deeper into this topic, I posted a other post at the same time. There I will talk more about how positive and negative thinking can influence you and how you can control it:

| The two foremen in our mind |

But simple and short what we can take away from that little story is:

Think big and think positive! Anything else is poison for your body. - Dario Meyer

I don't say negative thought should be extracted from our life. But the fewer we have the better. Try to control them and now how to shut them off if they occur.
But more of that like I sayd on the other blog post linked above :)

Hope you enjoyed that little story and let me know in the comments what you think of it.

Have a nice evening everyone!
